This fountain pen combines the smooth ink flow of a quill with the ergonomics of a pencil. Unlike the traditional fountain pen, with its one channel for ink flow and slanted tip, ours uses a cross-shaped nib surrounded by four “capillaries” for ink flow. This four-channel system allows the pen to spin, twist, and accommodate various pressures without altering ink flow. A simple cylindrical ink barrel threads onto a slightly thicker tapered base to create a comfortable finger hold.

The pen is machined of solid aluminum with all stainless steel internal components. It is in limited production and manufactured to order.

Designed and fabricated along with the fountain pen is a stand for a cherished pen or pencil. It is machined from a solid 1.5”- thick aluminum bar. With 3 precisely angled cuts, the slab becomes a very stable pedestal for writing instruments. The mass of the slab keeps it firmly planted on the work-surface, while the elevated perch raises the chosen writing instrument well above desktop clutter.
