This Compact Disc Transport consists of an extremely rigid chassis machined out of a solid block of aluminum with a hard mounted mechanism and magnetic clamp. Two cuts and small depressions in the chassis provide for user-friendly cd access. All operation is by remote control, so the body is free of any digital clutter, except for a remote control sensor.

The chassis rests on an interchangeable base, which houses the AC power supply. Alternate base is available with optional DC power supply.
