A collaborative project between Artspace and the New HAven Transit District, The Artspace Transit Enhancement Project is the centerpiece of a newly created public space in downtown New Haven.

In addition to serving as a hub for six bus routes, the shelter will be used as a canopy for performances and other activities organized by Artspace in the newly created public space.The complex curve of each polycarbonate panel is restrained by the clear anodized aluminum structure. The single horizontal structural component houses linear lighting along its entire 40-foot length to provide diffused illumination.
